QUESTION this only works in QC v1.x or am I wrong, in the folders /db and /config none of my files starts with the language-abrevation "xx_" for English e.g. "en_"!

merci - you're right, but on my search on the forum I dropped on this possible solution for my language-question, and it didn't work, so instead of posting the same again I wanted to tell you the broken link, so that others who search too before posting have the chance of getting the right solution.
I tried to use that method, but it didn't work for me, the only change was, that there are these two links "german | englisch" and as I click on it, the URL changes to:
mySite.com/?sLang=en or mySite.com/?sLang=de
but as soon as I click on my menu-link the language selection is dropped and I always end up on the same page, e.g.
mySite.com/?p=p_1&sName=Kontakt
shouldn't it be:
mySite.com/?sLang=de/?p=p_1&sName=Kontakt
and
mySite.com/?sLang=en/?p=p_1&sName=contact
???
Maybe I false, but that's how I thought it was intended, wasn't it?

smik - in the address you will see changes only after switching the languages, then address will look the same for both languages (so everything is good). It is because the cookies is set while changing the language. You can see how it works on our site: http://opensolution.org/
