templates not editable with templateEditor

Hello,

I have installed the templateEditor plugin but I can only delete pictures or edit the CSS file. All template files are visible but when you open them there is not text in the textarea. When making a new template there is the following error:
Notice: Undefined variable: lang in /home/tatsujin.nl/www/plugins/templateEdit/templates-admin.php on line 266

Does anyone has seen this before or any tips?

Quick fix:
Edit plugins/templateEdit/templates-admin.php

on line 260 change
global $tpl,$sTemplateError;
to
global $tpl,$sTemplateError,$lang;

Is this the normal html editor for the text areas or is there an edit plug in for templates? I can't see one in the download area.

just like before, the name of the template is visible but no text in the text area...

any other suggestions...

i still can't make templates but i can make css..
with a template is states
invalid suffix
