Add several blocks with pics/links

Hi,

I want to add a few blocks with pictures/links between the content and footer.

Example: http://www.guidovanderleest.nl/test.jpg

What's the best way to do that? Add extra colums? Do something with pages_default.tpl? Other suggestions?

I have done this so far:

Container.tpl
</div>
<div id="content">
<div id="column3">
</div>
<!-- END BODY -->

Default.css
#column3{width:200px;height:295px;padding:6px 0;
margin-left:5px;background:#990000;}
------------------------------------------

In this code #column3 is displayed on the top (above #content/#page), but I cannot get it to the bottom.

I don't know what You require from us.. You wan't ready code to paste?

I meant that I never thought of adding multiple themes. So thank you for that :-).
