Can QC be used as a catalogue with no cart?

I'd like to use QC(2.5) for a site that doesn't need to make online sales, where it would simply act as an online catalogue. It might also be nice to use the cart as a 'wish list' with no quantity or price info displayed. What I've thought of doing is removing from the template all of the bits not needed. Has this been done? or can anyone point me in the right direction please.

you already got it! delete the bits and peices. and also delete the checkout and cart on the menu. just open up all the
templates/default/ *.tpl files and edit away! its standard html and you can see how it works by opening it in wysiwig editor.

Guess I was hoping for an instant fix that perhaps someone had done before, but QC is so easy to template that hacking away the bits I don't need will be a pleasure.
