GD 2 problem, please help

I am a newbie of linux, so please help me to solve the stupid problem.
I have installed Apache, PHP 4.3.10 but I don't think there included GD 2, so I am preparing to install GD 2 , but the worst is...... I don't know how to install, can you give me some detail instruction ? thx in advance.

in php.ini unmark extension=php_gd2.dll:
