Hello guys,

a while ago I figured out how to do a chmod in Total Commander without having to write down "chmod 777 <filename>" for every damn file in the files or db directory.

It's actually very easy: in TC open an ftp connection, then go into the directory where you want to have files chmodded, select those files and then in Total Commander main menu go to Files > change attributes.
There you can either select the required attributes by mouse, or just write them down like "777". And press enter. All marked files should be chmodded to 777. In this same way also directories can be chmodded.

One more note: you cannot change attributes of the files you're not owner of, those that were created by the server. This usually happens when you upload stuff or create a new language in QC 3.0. The solution (if you REALLY need to chmod the files, usually it's not necessary) is to download the files to your harddrive, delete them on the server, upload them back to where they were and do the chmod.
