Although I understand QC's strength is it not being pumped full with feeatures, it would make sense to add a "weight" property to the admin products area. Sometimes, customers order only one item weighing 100 grams. Others order products with a total weight of 5 kilograms. Currently, I am only able to charge a fixed amount for shipping and have to email clients that order a high weight that shipping will cost more than it said in the checkout.
It would be great if the checkout would calculate different shipping rates for different weight classes:
0 - 1000 grams: euro 5 1000 - 2500 grams: euro 8 etc...
This could be calcultated either server side or client side I suppose. It would be nice to be able to add / edit shipping rates in the admin area, but I would mind having to edit a javascript file either.
Would sombody consider adding the following feature to QC? (This request goes for QC 1.x and / or 2.x)
