Attributes and localization

I want to use å ä ö wich is three letters in the swedish alphabeh with the attributes plugin but when i try to create a group it complains that i can only use characters, numbers etc. It somehow think that all users use the english alphabet, does anyone know a way to get around this?

Try editing the db files, I had the same problem with the geman ß.
