The site is on my LAN,
Very strange, if i remove files (plugins).tpl I do not have errors. If I insert the variable $sname_of_plugin in page.tpl under $sMenu I see only one empty line.

uh, I forgotten my server details:

Debian Ubuntu Dapper
Apache 2.0.x
PHP 5.1.2

PHP.ini (mod_php for Apache):
register_globals ON
safe mode ON
magic_quotes_runtime OFF
magic_quotes_sybase OFF

Your server requirements for QC is only
*
PHP version 4.3.3 and higher
*
enabled mail() function.
*
enabled gd2 library.

You are with Linux system. Can you find automatic PHP/Apache installer and configurator for Linux. For Windows was more similar softwares like WAMP. Try to search.
