No index page

Hi There.

I'm new here but i have already a question.
If my costimers come on my site than the first thing they see is the product list but what i realy want is that there is a index page where i can put a story ad for the costimers ( sorry my english is not so well ).
How do i get a index page where i can put my story ad?

Go into admin and create an index page. Then go to Configuration and set thiis as your start page.
