Error code when posting products to Quick Cart 1.3

Hi, i hope someone can help. I've installed QC to my server http://www.oceanstylemagazine.com/subs for some reason when i log into the admin area and try to post a product i get the following error: Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/oceanstylemagazine/subs/core/products-admin.php on line 1

The funny thing is that everything seems to works, eg. adding a category

I did a search on the site because i'm probably not the first one to experience such an error msg.

Can someone help? It would be much appreciated

andrew1 - try to upload again files in core/ folder, setting transfer type to binary.

Yep, the same error. I have re-FTPeed the core files, but still get the error.
