Hi all,

I'm interested in having a 'membership only' area on a quick.cart 1.3 loaded site. Is this possible? Can someone develop a plugin for this?

The idea is that a viewer of the site will only see the 'public' areas, but if they want to see certain sections of the site they will need to become a member by submitting their details by email. They are then given a username and password which they can then use to access the 'membership' only areas of the site...

I assume this is NOT possible in QC 1.3

do, or do not - there is no try (Yoda)

Are there plans to release English versions of these plugins in the future?

Also, I have been looking at a lot of plugins here - http://opensolution.org/sklep/ - I had no idea there was so much functionality available.

However, I cannot translate the FAQ's very well.

Can someone please explain to me what happens after an order is placed for a plugin? Are the files emailed to the customer? And does this take a few days or is it instant?

You can do it using this -- http://www.syndikut.org/syndikut_records/syndikut.php?action=scriptz (Download manager Lite) its actually free and it uses a php based flat file system - I'm currently using it - works well has a lost password feature that is nice too

The DLM members area works very well, the only problem is if I want a customer to be able to log in and view their previous orders I have to manually add all the order information myself to their private area.

Does anyone know if there is a way of setting the order info as shown in the admin section to be available for the customer to view when they log in? This is probably more complicated than it sounds!
