First off:: Am I the ONLY one using a Windows Server (W2K)???

IF not, can someone try to give me a few ideas of how to resolve the following issue?

Most everything works fine, but when adding pictures the response time is REALLY long after clicking submit... then after a minute or so, it lets you log back in , and the pictures are there and it looks fine. Wierd.

The permissions are set properly - IUSR (Internet Guest Account) for the server has full permissions for all areas mentioned in the forum. I just re-checked them.

Is there some kind of setting I am missing with the php_gs2.dll file or something.

A CLUE: Not fully tested, but it seems to be the actual file size of the pictures being uploaded -either pixel dimensions or file (bytes) size.

Any ideas?

Is there any way of checking a log or something that will allow me to understand why the response for a form submit when adding a product item hangs for several minutes?

I would think that this has happened to someone else before.

Is there any known session issue, or a way to be sure the permissions for PHP folders are correct?

I basically know that 'everyone' has 100% access to everything in the folders that matter.

If I only had a brain...

I have had this problem with any plugins added. If I use the stock version it works fine but as soon as I add the plugins in I get the hang whenever changing anything with the admin area....any help is appreciated.
