CHMOD 777 security?

It's a problem if i leave the config.php to CHMOD 777 ?

Hi, ive just download this really good script!!
However ive got this same question, about security.

I have config/general.php NOT chmod in 777, but only READ.

The scripts seems working fine at the moment...if so i will leave without chmod.

I don't think u can make changes to configuration table from admin panel if config.php is only in read mode..

true; its possible to change configurations only when it's chmod777, but when u have done your configurations (usually only at the first time, after installation), i think would be a good idea to set it back at READ only.
