I think it would be a good idea to release code that will allow for product listing in the admin panel by catagory, product name, price, position, etc.

ipodstock - in SQL it is easy ... You create "ORDER BY sName" and it will order by product name. In flat files it is not so easy. This small some options will need function to change array of products and sort by another columns like category, product name ...
