Create a product with image

When i try to create a product with image, I constantly get this massages:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreatefromjpeg() in /var/www/html/eshopdemo/libraries/FotoJobs.php on line 239

Whats wrong i my system? I just downloaded it from opensolution and uploaded it on my server?

i think you don't have gd library in your php

I have the same "fatal error" when i m trying to create a product and a category with some picture, but when i create a product with a image with extesion .ico it's working but it is not showing my picture when i acces the index.php from the site: is showing me only an icon but not the icon that i have put on my product
Also i have installed this script on "phptriad" and i think that is the problem i don't have dg library but can you tell me where can i get this library and how i can install this please

GD library shoud be installed by server administrator. Contact with him.
