How to upgrade my older 3.4 versions?

Hi great support!I have 2 good working shops based on your great script,but last week I had some problems with them-And I know-I just need to upgrade my version to the last one(I am using free Quick.Cart)!So-Can you tell me-how Can I update my shops and will I lost my information(products descriptions,client’s information etc.) Thanks in advance:)
