Admin won't load

I am trying to get into the admin section and I get the following error:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/mountain/public_html/qcart/core/products-admin.php on line 1

I have loaded and reloaded it a bunch of times. Thanks Kathy

Try uploading in Binary mode ....
