Making user register with site before using shopping cart

At the moment I have the situation - user has to Register and then be 'approved' by Admin before they can get past a welcome page. This is done by making various pages invisible unless they are registered (the Navigation bar, for one thing, isn't visible). Client now wants to open up the site so that all the content can be seen but users have to register and be approved before being able to purchase from the site.

I can open up the site content to be publicly visible. However, making some of the Basket pages etc invisible to users unless they are approved, doesn't work. They can still get through to buy.

How can I let site visitors see everything but not able to actually purchase unless they are approved?

I assume you are asking about paid edition. In that case please write to us using support form, you have access to it as paid edition user.
Forum is only for free version users.
