I get the error " fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in D:\[...]\core\preferences.php on line 151" i can not modify anything!!!

What version of PHP are you running? And on what operating system, under what web server?

Thank you very much for your interest! I got PHP Version 4.4.1 but I think the problem is the operating system on the web server which is Window, since i can not change permissions on files. So I am waiting for a Linux server. I'll keep you informed.

I changed to Linux. Now I receive this error when I try to go in the admin section:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /web/htdocs/www.manhattancasual.com/home/catalogo/core/products-admin.php on line 1

Maybe I solved!! The was a problem transferring files. For everybody check that your FTP software is switched to "Tranfer -> Auto"
