no photos display in QC 1.2

I instaled the program, but the photos not displayed on shop.
My question.
It's necessary a special plugin for this function ?

I have the photos in site, but QC don't save de path to the photos directory to any product.

where you put those files because i see that you dont have "files/products/" directory

the program instalation don't create this directory.
now I will create (attrib chmod 777) and tested, but 2 problems :
1-after change the article, the control panel wait blank, just ;
2-the photos not displayed on shop page

try to download latest version of qc and install it again...

I instaled the QC v1.2. Thinking thad was the last one.
and instaled again the following plugins :
pluginManagerV2_0 ; taxAndDiscountV2_0 ; productsInRow v1.1 ; productAttributesV2_0 ; templateEditV2_0 ; htmlMailOrderDetailsV2_0 ; nrOfEntries_v0.0.1 (this template don't work, because \templates\default don't exist and I will created in site, but in the shop page, the nr of entries in every category is allways zero)

i got the same problem
The picture by categorie is working
But by the products self the are gone

I have the pictures in another directory in my site.
It's possible to link directly this pictures for any product in QC v1.2 ? (without update the pictures to specify directory in QC) ?

in my ftp i see that the picture will be uploaded
but there is no thumbnail extracted
sometimes it will work
but i don't have a idee why some foto's works and why some foto's not

If i upload images that are very big (640x480 or bigger) they don't appear

I instaled the latested versions the QC 1.2 with the plugins, but my shop don't display photos, don't display nr of items by categories.

I have chmod 777 in directory files/ ; files/img/ ; files/products/ and files/ext
My instalation program QC v1.2 don't create files/products, I will created manualy
