Yea. Too bad as this had great promises. No offense guys but if there are no documents especially an install doc, you have no chance of making it big with this. Even your css style sheets are difficult to read and I'm not going to go through them to clean them up.

I'll keep an eye out for the docs that I read about in another thread and will come back when they're available. It's a great concept and I hope you succeed with it. Once it's documented, I'll be happy to donate.

Hi,

I really don't understand what kind of docs you need. You just unzip it, copy the whole stuff with the directory stucture it comes with onto a website and run it. You have, and that should be clear, to chmod all files in the "db" subfolder to 777 in order to be able to fill the store.

These 2 lines are sufficient to explain the install routine.

It has to be said, and I think this is missing, that you require a gd lib on your server.

Hi Till,

That's all setup as I have Coppermine running and want to integrate this with Coppermine. What I think is missing is that most people who aren't php savvy won't know how to set items and prices. So below I'll outline that:

1. If you don't know for sure if you have a gd lib installed on your server, try this. Create a blank file named "info.php", put this code into it: <?php phpinfo(); ?> then save the file and upload this file to your webserver, then run it in your browser (e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com/info.php). If you have a gd lib installed you'll see a window with the version number. If not, you'll have to have your webhost do it for you. This assumes you have a linux based webhost otherwise???

2. Unzip and follow the directions in the readme.txt to change your admin login name and password. This is important if you don't want someone else doing it for you!

3. Upload the files to your website and chmod all files in the "db" subfolder to 777 in order to be able to fill the store as mentioned by Till in the post above.

4. Point your browser to http://www.yourdomain.com/Quickcart/index.php and you should see an empty cart.

5. To add categories, items and prices and make changes to the store, point your browser to http://www.yourdomain.com/QuickCart/admin.php and enter your admin name and password.

6. If your server is set up correctly then this is all that's needed. Good luck and I hope you take in lots of orders.
