Default "Home Page"

I would like to show "specials" on the page that loads at default when my customers come to my store. My specials will consist of pictures only with image maps. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, if someone with a lot of qc exp. wouldn't mind passing me an AIM sn, MSN sn so I can ask questions more directly, that would be awesome!

You can define starting page in "configuration". Or I don't understood yourproblem...

I would like to add additional pages to the site. How do I do this?

Try adding a content-type category called Specials, and put all the requisite HTML for displaying your picture, image maps, etc in its Full Description.
Save it, then in Configuration, set Specials to be your Starting page.
