My Webhost updated recently the PHP Version to 5.6 and I had my fair share of issues with umlauts in the Quick.Cart 2.x version.
I fixed the general issue that german umlauts are not displayed correctly by now ... but this have the problem, that when someone places an order and fills out the form by using an umlaut (ä,ö,ü ...) he receives an error message. Could it have something to do with the trash.php (attached)? I know the shop foundation is quite dated by now (2.x) but so far I have not had any problems. Help would be appreaciated!
...also die Kurzfassung, nach Umstellung auf PHP5.6 von meinem Hoster funktionieren die Umlaute nicht mehr richtig bei Quick.Cart 2.x. Das Sie auf der Seite an sich richtig angezeigt werden konnte ich schon fixen, allerdings wenn man eine Bestellung aufgibt und in dem Formular irgendwelche Umlaute eingibt (ä,ö,i ...) dann gibt es eine Fehlermeldung. Ich habe schon son bissl rumgelesen und es könnte an der "trash.php" liegen, dass man da irgendwo noch die Chars einfügen muss ... allerdings bin ich da net so bewandert ... *help* ^^
