I dont want to view all products at the same time!

When I open the first page it shows all the products at once. And when I click on the main category it shows products from sub categories as well. I would like to have it in way that user has to click on sub category and only then it would show the products.

I have many products that has the same print the size just varies from others (magnets, signs...) so it looks kind of messy.

Thought it helped products not to be viewed in main categories they still can be seen on "frontpage". Any solution for that?

If by 'frontpage' you mean the page that is first displayed when someone visits your site (ie. the equivalent of hitting the 'Products' link) then change it.
