HOW TO UPDATE FROM v2.x? We tried to create most usefull script but it is not 100% what we want to get. If You have small site with for example 20 pages, 50 images we recommend to copy titles, descriptions etc and add by administration tool. 1. Download "converter_v2.x-v3.0.zip" from here http://opensolution.org/download,en,18.html?sDir=Quick.Cart/other 2. Unpack and read carefully "howTo.txt". Script requires PHP >= 4.3.3 and ICONV library in PHP 3. When You will convert database, create thumbnails and move design manually. We created new CSS and XHTML and You cant copy templates from old to new version.
DOCUMENTATION We created new documentation: http://opensolution.org/Quick.Cart/docs/

Congratulations. It is a great product. Im looking forward using it.
I was trying to find out how to implement a simple (product) subcategories listing under the category description. It would display all subcategories (subpages) of the page the customer is on. It has a meaning when there are too many product categories on the left and you choose some category that has subcategories -- the list is just too big and you have to scroll way down so you can click on some subcategory. Just check it out here, sensible navigation on that page is simply broken: http://www.nlp.sk/test/SocketAM2_QC.htm
As you can see, it even could, technically, be considered as a bug. Simple subcategories listing (children pages of that category/page) under page name/description would give much more sense. You don't have to list children of the children, just all subcategories, as clickable links.
I tried to create my own function to do that but failed miserably after 1 day of tweaking. Could you QC guys tell me how in the hell can I display that simple listing of subcategories? Or just implement it into the new QC version as well.
In file templates/default.css please set #product to word-wrap:break-word;overflow:hidden; so that long lines of continuous text such as long URLs don't break the design.
This was definitely a bug, please include this fix in the next version. The resulting line should look like this: #product{float:right;display:block;width:536px;margin:0 0 10px;padding:0 0 10px;border-bottom:1px solid #d1bd9d;text-align:left;word-wrap:break-word;overflow:hidden;}
in the templates/default.css for those who would like to keep search form in the header area, right besides the menu. BTW, when you do that and put $sSearchForm to the right of $sMenu2, notice different positioning of .input and .submit elements in IE6 SP2 and Opera9.5b2
beholder - wow beholder ... this was sunday. maybe you should rest? :)
about this product details bug ... could you tell us more or send screen to check how this bug works?
about search form ... this is customization ... we won't add code because MAYBE someone want to move search form ... please add topic "how to move search form to top menu" and add this information ... this will be good tip to do
yeah, just try to include this line into the product description http://cz.lge.com/prodmodeldetail.do?actType=search&page=1&modelCategoryId=080401&categoryId=080401&pa rentId=0804&modelCodeDisplay=HT302SD&model=NOTHING
Opera displays long line that breaks the design, IE6 SP2 goes completely nuts. Hopefully the line won't break Qforum.
