PHP code from QC and design from other

Hello Freinds how can i use QC code in my own design. Actually i am desiging currently one home page but i wanna use only QC code in it not QC design.

Modify the templates (/templates/default/ folder)
Only change the HTML, not the block headers, and be aware that variables in the templates cannot be arbitrarily shifted from one block to another, or one template to another, because the code may not have set them for use in areas where it doesn't expect them to be.
