Edit templates/menu_3.tpl and remove this:
($aData[iProductsCount])
and after
edit index.php and remove:
$oPage->definePagesProductsCount( );

when page has subpages, and no products added directly, you can see only empty brackets () in title
I'd like to change that for something like: (see more...)
How to add such condition to code:
if number of products =0 , than show: (see more...)

that is probably a bug then. The category above must have products turned off by a checkbox:
Ubercategory ()
Walking Boots (3)

When there is just 0 products in the uber category and it has products turned on, the display of products is normal. Only when products are off on the top category, then it displays ()

the problem is:
page A has 1000 products sorted in 12 subpages, Subbpages are displayed as gallety - name with number of products.
One of subpages (ie A.A) has sub-subpages, so I don't turn the products on page A.A, just display sub-subpages useing "gallery". Products are not turned on becouse when I do so, this gallery display of sub-subpages desapeares, and you can see only those 300 products which is not very convinient....That's why I need to put something in the brackets...

Actually you overkill it with that description. It is a bug, I think.
Empty brackets should not be displayed at all on that category.
If you have the above problem, you can always modify the top-page's template to NOT display products even if they are on. If you have a problem with it, I can assist, this really is not difficult.

that would be great, but beholder the problem is that when I tick the products on, the gallery of subpages desapear - you can see only full list of products.
So we need to do two things:
- to show subpages gallery even if the products are ticked on, and than
- do not show the products on top page even if they are ticked on
Seems I have licence to kill with descriptions :)

Listen, buddy, I don't have much time right now but if you keep this thread alive or write to my email, I will check it out for you. These are just simple tweaks, should not take long, so I will do it later. I just tend to forget that I have to do these things so please do remind yourself ocassionally.
